There's so much to admire in this large handbag. Lots of details

Simple little applique houses are appliqued onto a linen panel which forms the front pocket of this handbag.

Strip pieced panels either side continue the variety of colours used. 

This bag was made in Japanese woven fabrics which give a lovely texture.

On the back there is a pieced panel which forms a zippered pocket.

A flap with loop and button finish the bag with two short handles.

I’ve also made a plainer bag with no applique or piecing on the back pocket.

Still as lovely - Just a lot quicker to make. Finished size 15” x 12” x 3”
