Peaceful Ocean

I have always loved Storm at Sea quilts, but I wanted to break with tradition

and create an exciting new look. Just by changing the centre of the block enabled

long flowing lines and large circles to merge within this colourwash quilt.

The quilt is finished with an aptly named Ocean Waves block, using a wide selection of light & dark fabrics.

This quilt uses a mixture of simple Foundation pieced units & traditional piecing.

A truly organised scrap quilt. Sort through your stash and start gathering your fabrics, light to dark.

Finished size 72” square. Borders could be added to increase the size.
