The flower blocks form the front pocket which add quite a lot of detail without too much effort! The back is made of an easier version of the flower blocks and I’ve included a little bonded appliqué on the curved flap.
I’ve worked in my muted Japanese fabrics and a lovely linen/cotton blend fabric which was great for piecing & appliqué. Finished size 14” x 11” plus straps.
Also included in this pattern are two beautiful cushions takenfrom the flower block design.
