Tula Triangles
Tula Triangles
Last year, 2018, those closest to me thought I was having a midlife crisis, when I came home from the Malvern quilt show clutching my first purchase of bright,
bold & wacky fabrics! Truthfully – I too was a little un-nerved!!!
I think I was also inspired by our first two Grandchildren that were about to change our lives.
So, here is my first “Bright” design - Tula Triangles, made with lots of different bright fabrics from wonderful designers such as Tula Pink, Anna Maria Horner, Jennifer Paganelli, Kathy Doughty, Kaffe Fassett etc.
This striking scrap quilt is quite simple to make. Each equilateral triangle has a contrast band – the position of which is dependent on how the triangle is cut. It looks like a ribbon woven through the quilt.
The quilt including borders measures 54” x 62” which is easily altered.
A table runner is also included in the pattern.
