I love simple blocks that form alternate patterns. This quilt is constructed from Bowtie units.
The original, Autumnal, quilt was made in 2011 as a wedding gift, so no one else got to see this beauty, which was made entirely from my stash!
So for 2025 I decided to make a new version in my favourite taupe colours. This quilt was made entirely from woven fabrics, but you could use cotton prints or a mixture of wovens & prints.
The Autumnal quilt was made using four blocks x four blocks and measures 76" square the new quilt was made 3 x 4 blocks and measures 54" x 70"
There is a cutting chart for a variety of quilt sizes and also cushions & a table runner.
